Little brother is 5.

This little brother turned 5 today...

This is very hard to believe that he was ever this LITTLE :((((

We had a birthday party for him last night with a bunch of littles running around with a jumpy house. There was cake AND fireworks. The best firework show ever, so good that a police officer wanted to stop by and check out all the fun:) ....I should add that they were very  loud fireworks ... I guess some of the neighbors at 7 pm on a Friday night didn't like all the fun. That turned out to be a big highlight of the night. Rad had tons of fun with his friends and I can't believe he is 5.... it makes me sad.  Being a much older sister is great. Your not the mom but you care more than just as a regular sister does.
The day he was born I was in the hospital room with our mom and I was the first person that he every opened his eyes to.... I followed the nurses all the way down the hall with him into a room to weigh him or something. I had just seen some sort of movie or tv show about babies accidentally getting switched at birth and was making sure that that was NOT going to happen here (i'm crazy). Our lives are forever changed for the better. I love him sooooo much and I know that being 5 is going to be a great age for him.
